I’ve been interracting with the word Zayilogh closely for the last 8 months in my company. They are one of the most consistent visitors in my department. Everytime people hear about Zayilogh, you can expect spontaneous response. But after that much involvements I believe these are things I can describe about Zayilogh.

1. Total mess up on planning

This is the first time in my life working in a manufacturing environment to have such a disaster daily plan. It seems that Zayilogh, with all that hype coming with them, failed to prove that they do have a very good manufacturing plan with clear intentions to increase the productivity and efficiency. The know the concept, but they are really far away from understanding and most importantly implementing that concept on a clear manufacturing plan. All they do is kept changing the plan over and over without any firm plan for at least couple days ahead.

2. Doing a stupid hard work

We all understand that we have to work smart in every way in life. Especially in manufacturing, doing things smartly can give you higher productivity and obviously more efficiency. Zayilogh never do this. They don’t even bother about the technology available, which is quite ironic, because they claim that they offer all technologies to make your life simple. Once they look at me in awe when I was telling them in this company we use intranet extensively as our basic communications. To make it worse, they asked us to write down manually on a WHITEBOARD for internal communication on the daily setup plan. With all the technologies about computers, printers, internet, they still persistently like to use WHITEBOARD.

3. Exchanging money with pride

I can’t help but notice that with all the things they do everyday, they believe in one thing: “Put your customers far above you, let them be your God and do things they asked you without any arguments because we need their money”. Well, I understand that money is very important. What I don’t understand is that they really volunteer themselves to represent a slave in a  capitalism world. They never questioned what the customers asked, even how ridiculous it is. They never bothered to educate their customers. They said they have Customer Service Department (with a different name), but I wonder what they are doing everyday. Get paid only as a messenger? They should and must inform their customers what concerns that they have. Stupid instructions should not be followed. Because that makes you not only a slave, but a stupid one. The keyword here is to make your relationship with customers as close as possible and at the same time to make both in a relatively similar bargaining position.

Well, it’s nearly open fasting time, so I’d better stop this post. Hope I can give some positive reviews about Zayilogh next time. Obviously they have to catch up and fix things. Btw, this is the first business review on this blog, so I will keep posting on this category when I got a new business model or institution for review.

Now I got some snacks and water. Hope that’s more than enough
