How To Make Money from Blogs – Episode I

Here I want to talk about Project Wonderful. Another ads broker that you might be interested in joining to earn some money from your blog. I can recommend them because only yesterday I earned 10 bucks from this broker.

Project Wonderful (PW) use different system than any other ads broker. They hate CPC/PPC (cost per click/paid per click) system. They totally against it. CPC/PPC system leads to many fraud clicks. Advertisers don’t have freedom where to put their ads, and the publishers/bloggers have no freedom to choose which ads they like to show either.

PW offer system in which advertisers will be able to choose on what site/blog their ads will appear. The publishers/bloggers also have full freedom to accept or reject the ads. How the publishers/bloggers get paid from the advertisers? Through PW unique system called CPD, means cost per day. Advertisers pay you for how long the ads appear on your blog regardless the click.

After register with PW, first you have to create your ad boxes. Then decide what minimum bid you set for the ads to be shown on your ad boxes for a day. PW recommend to set it $0, as it’ll lead to infinite auction which form the market tendencies for your ad boxes. You have total freedom to set the minimum bid. If you’re confident enough about your traffic you can set it higher. PW also share the detail statistic about your blog including traffic to the potential advertisers.

I started my ad boxes with mininum bid $0 per day. Then I was surprised because there are so many advertisers queing for my ad boxes. They outbid each other in the increment of $0.01. Suddenly I got greedy :mrgreen: I changed the minimum bid into whatever I liked, from $1 to $20 per day :mrgreen: When I write this post, the minimum bid for my ad boxes is set to $1 at max.

PW set the minimum amount of US$10 for you to withdraw your money via paypal. If you don’t have any paypal account then simply create one. And if you don’t have any credit card required for paypal account then simply contact this guy. He sells VCC (virtual credit card) for you to setup your paypal account :)

I joined PW program on September 7th 2008, and succesfully withdrawn $10 yesterday (October 3rd 2008) to my paypal account. Less than a month. I spent the first weeks of that time learning about the system. Now you understand how they work through this post, I believe you can earn a lot more than me :)

One of the weaknesses of PW is they don’t have any referral program until now. So I’ll get nothing writing up this long post no matter how many links I provide :mrgreen:

    waduh dulu syaratnya apa yah. Kyknya ga ada syarat mslh bahasa deh. Soalnya temen gue yg blognya berbahasa Indonesia jg bisa keterima. Coba Retno cek link ini deh Gue sih curiganya krn blognya msh baru. Istilahnya “not enough content”. Tp pastinya ga tau juga. Mgkin bisa dicek dulu :)
