After posting about Project Wonderful in Episode 1, now I’m gonna tell you another opportunities to earn some money from your blog. Different with Episode 1, here I want to introduce you to one of the CPC/PPC (Cost Per Click/Paid Per Click) system ad broker called Netklix. Basically Netklix is similar to Google Adsense. Publishers/Bloggers get paid from the clicks by the visitors. So what’s the difference?

Non Contextual Ads

Google Adsense has been famous by its concept on contextual ads. Google Adsense will show ads that are really relevant with your post. If you write about finance and credit card for example, the ads shown on your page are also about them. Netklix on the contrary, prefer to have non contextual ads. You can choose on what categories/channels you want the ads appear on your blog. For example you can choose ads that relevant to “Entertainment” only for your ads space.

Ads Collections

I’ve tried to compare the ads from Google Adsense and Netklix. In the perspective of ads collections, Google Adsense has much more superiorities. They have endless ads to show contextually with your post. While for Netklix (I’m not sure, maybe because they’re not major broker yet), they have less fewer ads collections. I observe also that they prefer to have clasification between international publishers from the rest.

Pay Per Click Ratio

This is what wonders me. I’m sure that Netklix is nothing compare to Google Adsense. I mean Google Adsense is the king of all CPC/PPC system ads broker. But comparing the pay per click ratio, I’m quite surprised that Netklix have higher value. From my data (a month data, combining all kind of ads), Google Adsense have pay per click ratio about $0.042. While Netklix ratio is about $0.255. It means Netklix give me 6 times higher earning than Google Adsense. Again, this is only from my raw data.

Minimal Payout

From what I know, Google Adsense set $100 for any active account to qualify for payment. While Netklix, at least for my account, set it as much as $80.

Well, now you have another alternative to earn money from your blogs via CPC/PPC system besides Google Adsense. From my subjective point of view, Netklix are always there when you need them. I got nine mails from their customer service in less than a month answering all my questions. It seems that they respect me enough as their partner. Hope they can compete more in CPC/PPC system especially with the kingdom of Google Adsense.
