Cashew Nuts

Actually this is not really a posting. I just want to show off a little bit because I just bought some cashew nuts for myself. Surely I won’t be giving you any of it :mrgreen:

It’s not often that I can eat cashew nuts. It’s quite expensive. Usually I buy Silver Queen chocolate bar to have both chocolate and a bit taste of cashew nuts :mrgreen: But recently my friend who works at the same floor with me offering me some cashew nuts. It’s fried already so I won’t have to do anything else.

Like I said it’s quite expensive. The price is Rp 80.000 (US$7.3)/kg . I bought only 1/2 kg for Rp 40.000 (US$3.6). And I’m consistent with my statement above that I won’t be giving you any. So I eat them all :mrgreen:

Anyway, I don’t really feel well in the last several days. I feel something wrong with my throat. I believe I’m having laryngitis. I think I have to cancel my next concert at Budokan arena Japan :mrgreen:

    saya kurang suka kacang :D

    tapi bener mas kalo Silver Queen emang enak :D

    apalagi kalo gratis ya :mrgreen:

    R u sure don’t wanna share it with me? coz i’ll share my chocolate with u.. :mrgreen: . I only like this kind of nut if it’s blended with chocolate, biscuits or cakes….

    hehe okay then let’s exchange your chocolate with my nuts :mrgreen: In, i’d like to see you cook some of those you mentioned :)

    jerawatan deh lu

    eh di phuket banyak lho pohonnya. ada pabrik yg khusus jual cashew nut plus samplenya. aku sih makanin samplenya doank hihhi

    huehehehe kalo sample bisa dibungkus ga yah. Kalo bisa boleh koq dikirim2x ke gue :mrgreen:

    kalo udah makan kacang mete ini, gak bisa berenti…
    efeknya nongol di muka deh, jerawatan…

    Kemarin dapet gratisan dikit dari yang jualan, lumayan dan enak wong gratis he..he

    Kata dokter gw kacang mete efek jerawatannya lebih dahsyat dari kacang tanah lho, mangkanya ga boleh makan banyak2 huhuhu padahal enak bgt apalagi klo di kantor lagi ada yg jual… ada rasa asin, manis, pedes…

    Itu gambarnya kirain gambar apaan hehe

    hehe baru tau gue kalo kacang ginian bisa dibikin rasa pedes. Kyknya lucu jg :mrgreen: Hehe emang keliatannya kyk gambar apa sih….

    tadinya kalo coklat belinya yang ada isi ininya… tapi skarang gw lagi tergila gila pada almond!!! huhuhuu

    hehe gue dulu pernah nyobain yg almond. Tp kyknya sampe skrg msh setia ama yg ini deh :mrgreen:

    Eh iya lho di kantor gw menjelang Lebaran ada yg jual pake rasa madu sgl Bro, tp gw sih kurang suka, lebih ok yg original :)

    wah ngga kebayang gimana rasanya kalo dicampur madu :)

    liat kacang kayak gini seringnya inget sm lelucon lama; barangkali pernah denger ttg org yg bertamu ke rmh seorg kakek, dan wkt kakek itu masuk ke dlm bwt mengambil sesuatu, org itu ngiler & menghabiskan setoples kacang mete yg ada di atas meja. Pas tuh kakek balik, dia terheran-heran liat kacangnya habis, lalu bilang; wah..kemaren saya dapat kiriman coklat banyak dari anak sy, tp sy enggak bs makan kacangnya krn giginya gak kuat, jd saya emut aja coklatnya dan kacangnya sy taruh di toples ini, kemana ya kacangnya sekarang??? :)

    Like you said it is expensive but also very tempting. In my language there’s a phrase about cashew nut saying “ship-selling-nut”. It seems there was a rich man who one day got to taste some of these cashew nuts and once he started eating them, he liked them so much that he kept buying them again and again. When his money got over, he would sell something and buy cashew nuts till he sold his ship that he owned and bought and ate till he became a pauper. So beware!

    hehehe it’s interesting story. I guess cashew nuts is popular in almost all part in the world then :D Ok, I’ll be more careful on spending my money on any kind of nuts hehehe :D
