Global Crisis Hit The Company
This has been a global crisis. It practically gives bad effects in all economic aspects across the world. Especially if it’s related to the exporting product to the United States or Europe. Many companies in Batam are also export oriented company. Including mine.
I heard so many sad news involving several companies which located in the same industrial park as my current company. Some had many labours laid off. The other had to instruct their labours to take annual leave for the company to perform shutdown for several days. I guess I was just waiting when that bad news will eventually come to the company I work for.
Now the time has come. I heard the news that my company will have to ask all the employees including thousands of labours to take the annual leave from 24 – 29 December 2009. The moment will be quite right because we’ll have so many holidays at that time.
This plan obviously will save some money for the company. All the utility from electricity, water, air conditioner, will be saved. Also they won’t have to spend money for meals and transportations for the employees as all of us will be taking our annual leave.
In labours perspective, I guess we are all have been expecting this kind of situations. The economy has been slowing down a lot which in turns hit our customer orders. Some economy observers in media even predict that the situations won’t get any better until the second quarter period next year. And that’s quite optimistic as many believe we’ll experience this crisis a whole year during 2009.
Well, whatever has been and will happening towards next year will reflect how the company can survive this global economy crisis. Hopefully all will end well especially for the labours. Moreover for the middle-down class labours who are really depending their family life on this company.

Krisis di Amerika sono benar2 memberi dampak untuk Company2 yang berorientasi ekspor, ya ?
Nasib-nasib karyawan2 kecil yang harus berhadapan secara langsung dengan krisis ini. Krisis yang disebabkan oleh orang yang kurang perhittungan *acording to me*
Semoga Allah SWt melimpahkan kesabaran buat mereka…

Judul artikelnya rada ambigu. Tadinya gue sangka cerita tentang film seri HEROES, habis nyinggung nama The Company. Itu lho perusahaan kertas samarannya Mr. Bennet buat kamuflase aktivitas nangkepin orang2 yg punya special ability.
Cerita dari temen gue yg kerja di TOYOTA, katanya TOYOTA taun depan bakalan merumahkan 30 persen karyawannya. Sebelumnya sudah terjadi pemotongan waktu kontrak kerja sepihak terhadap karyawan arubaito (part-timer) dan pekerja kontrak.
Elo sih enak pren, udah punya pegangan. Perbulan aja bisa menghasilkan ratusan dolar dari satu blog doang. Kalo jadi juragan blog, bisa dapet ribuan dolar tuh
wah aktivis Heroes nih tampaknya sampe apal nama perusahaannya Mr. Bennet. Eh, Mr. Bennet itu bokapnya claire bukan yah? lupa gue
