Home Business – Solution to The Global Crisis?
I had a chat with my old friend yesterday. I know her since elementary school. I told her about what’s been going on in my current company. One thing that strucked me was her response. She asked me, “Why don’t you try to start your own home business?”
She reminded me of many home businesses around us, from a very small restaurants, pets services, computers, furnitures, to garments. She’s also telling the story about her senior as a student in university. How he dropped out from Chemical Engineering UGM (one of the best university in Indonesia) because he always failed to graduate from there. The fact is now he has 30 franchises of small restaurants which specialize on various kinds of chilli. He earns much more than his friend who succesfully graduated from the same department and now has been the manager of one of the largest coal producers in Indonesia.
Well, I’m sure that not all of us have business sense or instinct. That’s why there’re still many people chasing whatever job that they can get in a job fair or job openings. To get a job is one of the most important thing in life. That’s what people usually have in mind.
For bloggers (I prefer to call it Internet Publishers, it sounds cooler 
), I believe earning money from the internet has become one of their major interest in blogging. Some even have decided to be a full time blogger. Information Technology, especially internet, has always been growing and advancing in recent years so surely there are so many making-money opportunities there. Monetizing our blogs or websites perhaps is our version of having home business.
Now it seems many people realize that creating home business can give major revenue for them. Creativity is the keyword. Yesterday I found a person named Stone Evans who declared that his occupation is Home Business Opportunity Creation and “creating products and services that positively change people’s lives” has becoming one of his major interest. I thought perhaps we all should have this kind of paradigm.
Global crisis has been hitting us very hard. Like the monetary crisis back in 1998, where all the big players collapsed, I think home business owner will survive again this time. So perhaps what my friend told me was right. Why don’t you try to start your own home business?

I’ve always wanted to own a home business, however parents and boyfriend are strongly against it, they still think that when you don’t work for a corporate you’re not gonna make any success. Maybe I just have to marry a rich guy.
yup, it’s quite understandable. Maybe people prefer to do both. Having a job and making money in their spare time. It’s safe enough I guess

hehehe I believe you In. With your skills in english writing and most importantly your willingness not being affraid to sound like “frog” to visit every interesting places that you like, you’ll definitely got what it takes to be a great money-making blogger
