Champions League Draw
The draw for the knock out stages of the Champions League have been made. It’s full of mouthwatering ties especially for the english clubs. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United will have to do their best to get into the next round. All of the 1st leg will be played on 24-25 February 2009 while the 2nd leg on 10-11 March 2009.
Here’s the complete draw :
Chelsea v Juventus
Villarreal v Panathinaikos
Sporting Lisbon v Bayern Munich
Atletico Madrid v Porto
Lyon v Barcelona
Real Madrid v Liverpool
Arsenal v Roma
Inter Milan v Man Utd
Arsenal who haven’t been showing their best in domestic competition will face AS Roma. AS Roma succesfully topped their group in the group stages giving Chelsea hard time in the 2nd place. It’ll be tough task for Arsene Wenger and his squad especially when they have to play the 2nd leg away at Stadium Olympico Roma.
Chelsea will host Juventus on the 1st leg at Stamford Bridge. It will be a return for Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri who was once Chelsea’s manager before the era of Jose Mourinho. Now he’s got point to prove to Roman Abromovich, Chelsea’s owner, that he can beat Chelsea with his Juve’s squad.
Liverpool will have to visit Santiago Barnabeu Stadium to play against Real Madrid on the 1st leg. It will be the 2nd return for Rafael Benitez and his Liverpool squad to the city of Madrid this season after playing against Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid’s derby rival, at the group stages.
Jose Mourinho will face Sir Alex Ferguson when his Inter Milan side visit Old Trafford to play against the former champion Manchester United. Mourinho still holds the winning record from all those games he had to play against Sir Alex in the premier league. Will it be different this time? We’ll see.
I know some of you who like to comment in my blog are also fans of some football clubs. Sandalilang is a Chelsea fans, will have to meet Amzabro, a Juventus fans. I’m a Liverpool FC fans will have to meet Pri-Xu, a Real Madrid fans. I know at least there are 2 Manchester United fans, C Ronaldo and Ryane. But I’m not sure whether there is Inter Milan fans here.

Huehehe n’tar ngomongin indomie lagi dong In 
I have my fave socer club in every league, and I am long time fans of them:
1. Italian serie A: INTERNAZIONALE MILANO
2. English Premier League: LIVERPOOL F.C.
3. Spain’s La Liga: F.C. BARCELONA
4. Indonesian PERSIB
sometimes I feel anxious if 3 of them must face each other, except of course its already a final match (number 4 is the only exception
)
Liverpool and Barca have got their Champion’s cup recently in this decade, so I prefer Internazionale can do the same for this year.

Ngomong soal rivalitas, klub yg paling gue sebelin:
1. Liga Italia: Juventus, selain rival Inter juga gara2 kasus Heysel yg bikin Liverpool di banned dari dunia internasional.
2. Liga Inggris: MU, my Liverpool is the original and genuine RED!!
3. Real Marid: I don’t like Franco and I support Catalonia.

kalo ngeliat komentarnya si patrick espn, ngeliat draw yg kyk begini pasar taruhan smakin berpihak ke Barca men. Yg laennya saling berjibaku sesamanya, Barca malah dpt lawan yg relatif enteng. Tp kalo barca vs manu di final keliatannya barca yg menang huehehehe
