Going to Solaria With Helena
I’m going to dedicate this post to Helena. She will leave Batam next Tuesday. She’s my friend who’s working at the same department as me. It’s been 2 years we’ve been friends and now she has to leave this island to continue her study.
We spent our last time together in Solaria, at one of its counter in Mega Mall Batam Center. She ordered ifu mie and as usual I ordered fried rice plus omelette.
We talked a lot especially about our company which has been hit by global crisis and obviously her plan to continue study in Korea. She got a scholarship from one of the university in Korea for Master Degree in Electrical Engineering. She said that the new semester will start on February so she has to take care of everything including visa from now on.
Personally I think it’s a wise decision. With the global crisis happening across the world continuing her study would give her major boost in the job market in the next couple years. I still believe in the next couple years the situation will get better. Hopefully the economic growth will start to show positive trends.
By the way, this is the first time I know what ifu mie looks like 
It tastes quite strange to be honest. It reminded me of what Indomie might taste if you don’t cook it well Perhaps I should have it next time to get used to it.
I don’t have any complain about the fried rice. I guess I know what to expect from Solaria. It hasn’t been as good as the first time I was tasting it. But never mind. I rarely come here anyway
All I can say now is good luck to Helena. I’m sure she’ll finish her study in time because I know that she’s a very smart girl. See you again, Helena. Keep in touch and don’t forget to visit this blog once in a while in your spare time
