Movie Review: Shoot ‘Em Up
Mr. Smith (Clive Owen) introduced himself as “I’m a British nanny, and I’m dangerous”. It really describes briefly what this movie is all about. Full action from start to finish with some satire humor. Not everyone’s fond of. But I don’t mind paying the ticket to watch this. Actually I did. The story is about a man who save a newly born baby from the people who want the baby dead.
Pros :
- It has Clive Owen in it. Which is quite unique. He’s arguably one of the oscar calibre actors. But here he stared in a pure action movie.
- You can watch Monica Bellucci 
Wonder how she can still be gorgeus with age
- I always like a movie which can combine action with unique humor. This movie offers violence with dark humor.
- Good action sequences. Not great though.
- the opening sequence is very good. Mr. Smith is sitting alone on the side of an empty street when suddenly he saw a pregnant lady running away from a group of people who tried to kill her. No need to wait too long for the first gunshot scene 
- I love every single carrot scene in this movie
Cons :
- Weak plot. Many flaws. It seems that the director didn’t care enough about the story
- You can’t expect an extraordinary action sequences in this movie. The budget was only about $39M. It’s obvious that the crews tried hard to make every scene within those budget.

Same here, I also like the combination between action and comedy..or romance and comedy
it started off great but went down hill fast when it went political. should have kept to the story it started with.
